What happens in a Clinical Hypnotherapy session?

Firstly, I conduct a clinical interview to get to know you and your personal situation.

After I have sufficient information, you then sit on a couch or lie down on a padded table.

I then make you experience a light to medium hypnotic trance- a state between wakefulness and sleep, so that you are still able to listen to me, and simultaneously be enjoyably relaxed.

While you are in the state of deep relaxation, I will verbally communicate with both your sub-conscious and supra-conscious minds.

Because you are not unconscious or asleep, you will still be in control of yourself during the hypnotherapy process.

  • You will be able to inform me whenever you feel any discomfort.
  • You will easily be able to snap out of your trance on your own, in case you feel it urgent to do so.

To end the session, I gradually rouse you alertness, so you leave the session feeling rested, energized, and happy.

What are my credentials for doing Clinical Hypnotherapy?

  • I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist with a strong Milton Ericksonian approach.
  • I have training in solution-oriented therapy and neuro-linguistic programming.
  • I also do street hypnosis for fun and demonstration purposes.
